The art of creative living

Cooking and the kitchen have always been my sanctuary, a place where I can relax and nurture myself and others. Especially when making pies or desserts, I feel I can infuse even more of my creativity into the process. Unfortunately, without access to an oven, I find myself creating desserts that don’t require one. One classic is “salamino di cioccolato,” and the version I made with white chocolate, lavender, and pistachio.

For an entire week, I couldn’t stop thinking about how lavender would taste with white chocolate. I just had to try it out. Sometimes, I get ideas like this and simply must bring them to life.

I realize more and more that creativity is a way of living. It influences every detail and direction in life. I was happy to share my dessert with the community and am sure I will make many more.
